How We Buy and Consign
At Studio61 Boutique, we’re dedicated to helping you get the best value for your pre-loved designer items. We offer competitive rates and a straightforward process with two options: outright purchase and consignment.
To make sure we’re the right fit for your item, we evaluate each piece based on its brand, style, demand, and the season. Market trends and what our clients are looking for change often, so our inventory changes with them.
Before you come in, please submit your items through our online form. This is the best way for us to give you an accurate idea of what we can accept and an estimated price range, saving you time and ensuring a smooth, transparent process.
Our Consignment & Outright Purchase Rates

Consignment ~ 45% to 80%
Our consignment service is reserved for pre-loved luxury and high-end designer goods valued at $300 and above. For items below this price point, we typically offer an outright purchase. Scroll down for more about our buy outright rates.
Consignment Payout Rates
The rate is calculated on the final selling price* of the item.
Items under $300: You earn 45% of the final sale price.
Items $300~$1,999: You earn 50% of the final sale price.
Items $2,000~$3,999: You earn 60% of the final sale price.
Items $4,000~$7,999: You earn 70% of the final sale price.
Items $8,000 and above: You earn 80% of the final sale price.
*The payout percentage remains as quoted if the final selling price goes below the percentage threshold.
Our service is based on a transparent ‘sale or return’ model. We provide timely payments to you every two weeks, with the final payment issued at the conclusion of the 8 to 16-week consignment period.
Note: For online consignment items only we mark up the selling price from $20 up to 5%. This mark up, paid by the final buyer, covers photography, listing, and marketing—so your earnings remain unaffected.
Outright Purchase ~ 30%
Receive 30% of the proposed selling price of your items.
Our outright purchase option is for mid-range to lower priced pieces and best if you prefer funds as a bank transfer upfront. As a general rule, we buy outright items with a selling price of below $250.
For example, if you bring in an item that we will sell for $100, we’ll give you $30 as a bank transfer.
Our payment terms are 7 to 14 days from receiving goods.
Store Credit ~ 50%
Receive 50% of the proposed selling price of your items.
Best value for regular customers and reserved for mid-range clothing and accessories (generally with a selling price of below $250).
For example, if you bring in an item that we will sell for $100, we’ll give you a $50 store credit valid for 6 months. Once issued, the store credit cannot be transferred into a buy outright agreement.
Store credit is issued within 7 days.
